性质：简称PBT纤维。由聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯树脂经熔融纺丝制得的纤维。密度约1.32。强度比PET与尼龙-6都低，但模量（约29.4兆帕，300公斤力/厘米2）却与尼龙-6相当。当伸长10%时弹性回复为80%，与尼龙-6相当而优于PET。这种纤维极易染色，分散染料的上色率约75%，是近年开发出来的一个新的纤维品种，它可纯纺或与PET纤维混纺、复合。主要用于制备连裤袜、紧身衣裤、运动衣裤等纺织品。
