The porous composite material with microfibrillar structure and micron level grain and its preparation process belongs to the field of catalyst, catalyst carrier, filtering material and adsorbing separation material technology. The material contains organic polymer microfiber and functional material grain in micron level size, has microfiber binding points sintered together to form 3D netted structure and micron level size grains homogeneously bound to the microfiber, and possesses porosity of 50-80 % and microfiber accounts for 3-12 vol%. The preparation process of the material includes mixing microfiber, micron level size grains and binder in water to form slurry; filtering the slurry in forming mold to from precursor; drying the precursor and sintering the microfiber contacts at specific temperature, atmosphere and pressure to form the porous composite material. The material has the advantages of great porosity, great specific surface area, easy preparation and low cost. |
