The invention is a double-drive fire pump set system, comprising a double-shaft extension fire pump, a motor and a diesel engine, where one end of input shaft of the double-shaft extension fire pump is connected with that of a first clutch and the other end of the first clutch is connected with output shaft of the motor, the other end of the output shaft of the double-shaft extension fire pump is connected with one end of a second clutch, and the other end of the second clutch is connected with output shaft of the diesel engine, and the double-shaft extension fire pump, the first and second clutches and the diesel engine are all fixed on a base. As a fire signal occurs, a control circuit selects to start the motor and switch on the first clutch or switch on the second clutch and start the diesel engine to drive the fire pump. It needs no setting a second fire pump, thus reducing equipment configuration and occupied space and saving manufacturing cost. |
