    A heat-exchange process for preparing the sandy aluminum oxide by two-stage decomposing includes such steps as heat exchange between the mother seed liquid overflowed from vertical disc filter and the stage-one decomposed slurry in a wide-plate heat exchanger, and secondary heat exchange between said heat exchanged mother seed liquid and refined liquid in plate-type heat exchanger. Its apparatus is also disclosed.
