The invention relates to a method that uses rice bran to detoxify the chrome slag, which is a carbon deoxidization method. The invention only uses the rice bran as the detoxify deoxidization agent. First, mixing the rice bran and the chrome slag uniformly, to be laid in the microwave field to process oxide-reduction reaction, to reduce the hexavalent chromium into trivalent chromium. Compared to present carbon deoxidization method which uses coal powder or active carbon powder, the invention has wider deoxidization agent resources, lower cost, and simple operation, high recycle utilization, and reduced energy. And the generated flammable gas can be used again.
