The invention relates to an improved light of the type used as street furniture. The inventive light comprises: a lower body (1) which has an essentially inverted truncated-cone shape and which is open at the upper en thereof, the lower end of same being equipped with an off-centre circular window (11) for projecting the light externally; a hollow upper body (2) which has an essentially truncated-cone shape and which is mounted on the lower body (1) by means of a hinge (3), said hinge enabling the upper body to be moved between a lower closed position and an upper open position; replaceable covers or tops (4) which are intended to be fixed to the upper body (2), such as to close the upper end of same; means for fixing the upper body (2) and the lower body (1) in the closed position and means for fixing the cover (4) to the upper body (2). |
