This invention provides a method for mutual communicating IPv6 and IPv4 GPRS core networks having a GSN agent with IPv4 and IPv6 addresses including: A, obtaining the IP address of GSN agent in the same IP edition with the source network when the source GSN inquires about the corresponding IP address of a target GSN and encapsulating the source netork IP edition used by an up GTP information to be sent to GSN agent, B, GSN modifies the source address in the up GTP information to that of GSN agent in the same IP edition to the target network, inquiring about the corresponding IP address of the GSN to encapsulate the target network IP edition and sends it to GSN of the target network, C, after receiving the GTP down information returned by the target GSN, the GSN agent modifies the source address in the down information to that of the GSN agent same to the IP of the source network to encapsulate the IP edition of the source network used by the down information to be sent to the source network GSN. |
