    The invention relates to a mobile communication technique, which discloses a method for paging users in the mobile communication system to simplify the communication instruction system and reduce the paging time and processing time delay. In said invention, the invention combines the two paging modes as core network and the access network into one mode as access network, to simplify the direct control and management of core network on the user state, to complete relative user mobile state management all in the access network. The paging message can be transmitted via descending shared channel or special paging channel. And when starting the paging, the paging message only contains the user mark.
