    Present invention discloses off line messages transmitting and receiving method. It contains off line messages transmitting client-side transmitting said off line messages to off line messages receiving side off line messages processing server through messages conversation relay protocol MSRP channel, said off line messages processing server storing received said off line messages. Off line messages receiving client-side obtaining off line messages stored in off line message processing services server through messages conversation relay protocol MSRP channel. In establishing channel course, it is divided into two states which are whether the client-side instant message server is involved or not involved the establishing MSRP channel. Said invention provides complete solution for SIP / SIMPLE instant messages service system.
