    The invention relates to an apparatus for measuring the distance and slope angle between optical pickup device and storage media and method for completing this. The apparatus comprises: on the light gathering component (object lens) being formed a supporting base; inserting a chock with refracting surface into the supporting base to make the light that irradiates out of the light gathering component refract take refraction; employing detecting component to detect the distance and slop angle. The invention is characterized in that: being able to realize functions of common focusing servo and sloping servo; being able to tracking the absolute distance and slope angle in real-time.
