    The invention discloses a method for reducing low gray grade false configuration of plasma display which comprises steps of: calculating real output brightness value of plasma display panel; applying invert gamma transform on current processed pixel gray grade and getting a calculation gray grade value by adding other pixels diffusion errors; finding out a value which is mostly closed to the calculation gray grade value from the real output brightness value of plasma display panel, and taking the value as real display gray grade value; taking the difference of real display gray grade value and calculated gray grade as pixel error; diffusing the error to adjacent pixels with Floyd Steinberg method.
