    The invention relates to lead detection liquid in water, which comprises: 0.05% azophenol compound 1~20 unit volume (uv), 0.01% surfactant 0~10uv, and 0.01mol/L caustic soda. 10~50uv. The opposite colorimetric detector tube contains a constant-section vacuum sealing glass tube with the lead detection liquid; the ratio of height H1 of the detection liquid in tube and the blank height H2 by section of glass tube is 1:2~20. This invention is convenient to carry and use. The detection threshold meets national discharge request, and the detection result meets the water analysis error accuracy standard.
