    This invention relates to a preparation technique of crude drugs, especially those with high purities, for pharmaceutical industry. The preparation technique of high-purity crude drugs scutellarin mentioned in this invention consists of following steps: a) breviscapine is placed in a vessel with the addition of water of more than twice the mass, and the pH value is adjusted to 4~8 for complete dissolution with alkaline solutions such as calcium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, potassium sodium hydrophosphate or organic bases; b) solvent of more than three times the mass is added at a temperature of 18~35 deg.C for precipitation and the mixture is laid aside and filtered, with the precipitates washed with solvent; c) the precipitates are transferred into a solution containing 10~60wt% solvent and acid is added to a pH value of 1~2 for precipitation. The mixture is then filtered and the precipitates are washed to neutrality, dried and finally collected as high-purity crude drugs scutellarin.
