This invention describes a water treatment assistant and its applications. At the present time, the field of water treatment home and abroad typically adopts chemical coagulate process for water treatment, i.e., using inorganic salts such as aluminum or ferric salt as the water-purifier, of which the hydrolytic condensation of Al3+ and Fe3+ can be utilized for water purification. However, the price of the present aluminum or ferric salt water-purifier is rather high, thus resulting in the high cost of the present water treatment. In this invention, the water treatment assistant mainly comprises 20-80 portions of calcium oxide, 10-30 portions of hydroxymethyl cellulose, and 10-50 portions of alginic acid. in addition, the said assistant still comprises water whose amount is 150 times the total amount of calcium oxide, hydroxymethyl cellulose and alginic acid. The product of this invention can be used as a flocculant for water treatment. |
