This invention discloses a network storage management system of medical images and a method, in which, the system includes an image library, a PACS database, medical image devices of an image storage controller and a doctor working station, in which, the controller includes an image network management module and an image receiving module, said image network management module includes a certification center unit, a stored agent unit and a metadata recording unit. The method includes: fetching images from an image library via a copy strategy service, a management service, a location service, mobile service and an access service in the stored agent unit according to the requirement of the doctor working station. |
