    The invention discloses a method for preparing corundum hollow ball, employing brown fused alumina or white alundum or the two substance as main raw material, introducing carbon element or addictive or introducing the two substance and introducing purification to remove SiO2, Fe2O3, TiO2, Na2O, K2O, CaO and MgO, or not introducing carbon element and addictive, smelting in the three-phase alternating current arc furnace or direct current arc furnace, blowing with high pressure air to produce corundum hollow ball, then separating and choosing to get corundum hollow ball of 0.2-5 mm, which is characterized comparing with aluminum oxide hollow ball by lower.
