    This invention discloses a new technology for producing ferrosilicon and its multicomponent alloy, in which mirabilite (Na2SO4), quartz sand (SiO2) and carbon (C) or solid sodium silicate (N2SiO3) are used as raw materials which, along with metals (Fe or Mn) or non-metals in a certain proportion, are heated in an especial smelting furnace by the direct combustion of coal, oil, or gas to accelerate reaction.
