The softening law of 1050 aluminium alloy in the interval between hot compression deformations was studied by the isothermal compression test at the Gleeble-1500 thermal mechanical simulator. The results show that an obvious drop in flow stress was observed after the interval . The softening fraction Fs increased as the time of the isothermal gap prolonged, and the higher the temperature of the deformation and interval, the bigger the softening fraction.
