nature : Dark red powder. Able to dissolve in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone - soluble. The concentrated sulfuric acid solution was purple, diluted goods were red and deposits. Used mainly with wool and silk, but also for nylon, leather, paper dyeing and manufacture of organic pigments. From 1-naphthylamine 4-by diazotization acid, and 1-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid (NW acid) in alkaline medium coupling derived.
