nature : water soluble black, dissolved in ethanol as silk. Micro-soluble acetone, do not dissolve in organic solvents. Concentrated sulfuric acid insoluble ash to blue to black. Main acidic or neutral medium with silk and wool. May 5-amino-1-naphthalene sulphonate diazotization, with 1-naphthylamine coupling, and for the second time diazotization, and N-phenyl-acid and the second coupling in the system.
