thermoplastic elastomer;elastoplastics
Molecular formula :
MW :
CAS :

nature : short TPE. Also known as thermoplastic elastomers. One category is displayed at room temperature elastomer, when the heat was plasticity of polymer materials. Molecular structure have a rigid chain of (hard) and the flexible chain of (soft). For example, thermoplastic polystyrene - polybutadiene - polystyrene block copolymer (SBS), the hard-S, that is plastic; B of the soft, or of rubber. TPE with ordinary vulcanizate with similar properties, the hard form of mild to the chemical and physical crosslinking, not curing. With thermoplastic resin, may be ordinary plastic molding process. Energy-saving effort is a new material. Currently in wire and cable, footwear, paints, adhesives, electrical components with regard to the application.
