nature : Heating polymer and the poor performance of the process of change. Most of the polymer thermal aging is light, oxygen and heat combined effect caused by the degradation and crosslinking reaction. Degradation will cause soft, sticky hair; Crosslinking made the material hardens, brittle hair. For example, butadiene rubber thermal aging will make it crosslinking, stiffen and lose flexibility.
